A house is an important need for human, which is as a place for living, for resting, for sheltering from bad season and weather, from insecurity, and for socializing with other humans. However, it is still found that at several housings there are simple estate houses left untreated by the owners that started from the buying time to several years later that some of the house components are damaged and just left; consequently, it needs renovations if it will be dwelled. In terms of material use, house renovation is cost wasting and is not efficient because most of people renovate the houses though they are not dwelled. It means that this case is not good and needs to be overcome by all parties. This research aims at finding out the three important effects Style, Construction, and Finishing toward Type-21 House Renovation. This research studies 87 owners of houses which have been renovated at four housings in Malang, which are Banjar Arum, Sapto Raya, Griya Permata Alam and Tunjung Sekar by delivering questionnaires directly that has been aided by the chief of neighborhood.

The type of research is an explanatory research by employing survey. The researcher takes sample form population and makes use of questionnaires to collect data. Finally, the final step is double linear analysis model.

The analysis finding is Y = 5.681 + 0.227 X1 + 0.239 X2 + 0.087 X3; based on finding of data analysis, it can be concluded that Style (X1), Construction (X2) has a significant effect to house renovation, whereas Finishing (X3) has no significant effect to house renovation showing that dwellers of Type-21 houses have priorities to the strength of the house and the up-to-date style which is in contrast to finishing that involves ceiling, bathroom/toilet, tile reparation, painting and plester reparation that does not become the priority.
